Not to feel exasperated, or defeated, or despondent because your days aren’t packed with wise and moral actions. But to get back up when you fail, to celebrate behaving like a human–however imperfectly–and fully embrace the pursuit that you’ve embarked on.
Be bold. Be true to yourself. Do what you want to do. Go where you want to go. Or stay. Your choice. Live your life. On your terms. You are limited to one. And you are responsible for it. So go for it. Take chances. Make mistakes. You will be tested. You can stand up and do something about that, or you can lay down and give up. Your choice. If you don’t like something, change it. Never stop learning. Your experiences should be different. They are uniquely yours. Be kind to yourself. Be kind to others. Do good. Your life is the destination. Enjoy the ride.
Your Mileage May Vary
from Robert Vinet
Every day I dive into the internet cesspool and go through hundreds of news sources and extract the most fascinating stories. All stories are curated by hand. No large media organizations. No bots. No unambiguous algorithms deciding what you get to read.
When I find interesting information that doesn’t fit elsewhere on the Joe Public Network, it gets placed on the YMMV site.
The material on Your Mileage May Vary and across the Joe Public Network is for informational purposes only, and is not a substitute for good judgment and/or common sense.
